Catechists, more and more frequently, pay attention to the crisis of committment among parents in the process of religious education of their children. They describe the difficulties connected with the cooperation between religion teachers and parents. They also seek the ways of overcoming this crisis. That is why this article aims at presenting the cooperation of religion teachers with parents from the perspective of new, approved in 2010, catechetical documents such as: <em>The core curriculum of catholical church catechesis in Poland</em> and <em>The syllabus of Roman Catholic religion teaching in schools and kindergardens</em>. First, the context of theoretical analyses was characterised. Then, the attention was paid to the changes in the stages of school education and the programming of general education and religion teaching. Next, the cooperation between religion teachers and parents in the new, approved in 2010 and gradually introduced at school and in the ministry catechetical documents, was described. Afterwards, the aims, the rules and the ways of cooperation between  religion teachers and parents, were depicted. Finally, evaluating the suggestions of the authors of the catechesis curriculum documents the possibilities and limitations in implementing theoretical proposals were discussed.</p>}, journal={Studia Warmińskie}, author={Zellma, Anna}, year={2012}, month={Dec.}, pages={181–195} }
