The analysis focuses on identifying the perpetrators of the attack, their motives, and considering the extent to which Cyril can be held responsible for this event. Particular attention is paid to presenting Hypatia as a victim of the tense dispute between the ecclesiastical authorities, represented by Cyril, and the secular administration, led by Orestes. The events described took place in Alexandria at the beginning of the 5th century. The first part recalls the figure of Hypatia in relation to her curriculum vitae, as well as her scientific, teaching, social and political activities; the second part reconstructs the causes, course and consequences of the
conflict between Cyril and Orestes and its impact on Hypatia’s life; and the third and final part presents the last day of the philosopher’s life ending in her tragic death. In this study, in order to present the analysed issue, selected ancient authors (5th–7th centuries) and excerpts from their works, mainly of a historical nature, were cited, including Socrates Scholasticus, John of Nicaea, Damascius, Philostorgius, John of Malalas, and Hesychius.
2025-12-17T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Warmińskie https://czasopisma.uwm.edu.pl/index.php/sw/article/view/10890 Background to the Election of Leon Redner as Bishop of Chelmno Diocese in 1886 2025-06-13T14:09:21+00:00 Marek Jodkowski marek.jodkowski@uwm.edu.pl
In 1886, after the death of Bishop Jan Nepomucen Marwicz of Chełmno Diocese, the Chełmno Cathedral Chapter initially refrained from electing a diocesan administrator because of the need for him to take an oath of loyalty and obedience to the Prussian king and state law, which was the aftermath of the kulturkampf. After the relaxation of state legislation, Canon Leon Redner was elected administrator. From the outset, the state authorities rejected candidates for the episcopal see in Pelplin associated with the Polish community, above all the canons of the chapter who represented the so-called Polish faction. From the list of candidates initially prepared by the chapter, the only person acceptable to the state authorities turned out to be the provost Gustav Wanjura. However, the selection by the chapter could not be made on the basis of a single candidate. In addition, the favourite of the state authorities was rejected by the Holy See. In order not to prolong the vacancy on the episcopal capital, Leo XIII forced the chapter to suspend its right to elect a bishop. Direct negotiations
between the Holy See and the Prussian government led to the nomination of Canon
Leon Redner as Bishop of Chełmno Diocese. The papal breve was promulgated on 16 November 1886. He was ordained bishop on 9 January 1887 in Pelplin Cathedral by the Archbishop of Gniezno and Poznań, Juliusz Dinder.
2025-12-17T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Warmińskie https://czasopisma.uwm.edu.pl/index.php/sw/article/view/10407 From Pulpit Logic to Passionate Appeal: The Shift from Reason to Passion in Selected post-1688 Whig-Aligned Clerical Texts 2025-05-13T08:53:55+00:00 Katarzyna Kozak katarzyna.kozak@uws.edu.pl
This article examines a selection of clerical texts associated with Whig-aligned churchmen in post-Revolution England, focusing on how their rhetorical strategies – particularly their treatment of the passions-reflect an effort to engage broader audiences while distancing themselves from High Church and Tory ideologies. The analysis is based on three case studies: John Tillotson’s sermons, Gilbert Burnet’s writings, and John Dennis’s works. Tillotson, seeking to present Low Church religion as ‘reasonable,’ though emphasised the need to subordinate passions to reason, at the same time acknowledging their significance. Burnet, by contrast, emphasized the need to adapt sermons to the unlearned, recommending a more deliberate and expansive use of passions as a legitimate tool of persuasion. John Dennis, while portraying passions as destructive in his attack on High Church’ ‘priestcraft,’ simultaneously embraced
impassioned and affective language to strengthen his polemic, aligning with Burnet’s recognition of the persuasive power of passions. These examples suggest a marked shift in the period’s religious and political culture – from reasoned moral instruction toward more emotionally charged appeals aimed at increasingly diverse audiences. By tracing this evolution, the study highlights how rhetoric of passions became an essential element in the communication strategies of Whig-affiliated writers at the turn of
the eighteenth century.
2025-12-17T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Warmińskie https://czasopisma.uwm.edu.pl/index.php/sw/article/view/10940 Establishment of Hozjan Research Laboratory at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin 2025-05-09T10:22:37+00:00 Andrzej Derdziuk aderdziu@kul.pl
The text discusses the history of the Hosiusian Studies Laboratory at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin in Lublin. Before its establishment at the Catholic University of Lublin, it already had its stage of activity in Olsztyn, where it worked for the historical commission in the beatification process of Cardinal Stanislaw Hosius. The article first presents the figure of the cardinal from Warmia and the history of the investigation of the heroicity of his virtues and fame of sanctity. The contribution of Fr. Alojzy Szorc, who presided over the work of the described research unit in Olsztyn, was marked, and the figure of Fr. Roland Prejs, who was appointed head of the laboratory in Lublin, was pointed out. The study of the issue made use of archival materials at the Catholic University of Lublin, as well as studies on the figure of Hosius and the history of the laboratory named after him in Olsztyn. Drawing on an analysis of materials from the periodical Tryzub, the article explores the key
activities of the UPR government in exile following its defeat in the national liberation struggles of 1917–1921. The author examines the diplomatic, informational, and organizational efforts of the Ukrainian political émigrés aimed at securing the support of European states to restore Ukrainian statehood. The article illustrates how “Tryzub” portrayed engagement with European countries, including its coverage of Ukrainian history, efforts to counter bolshevik propaganda, and steps toward integration into international structures. It also addresses the challenges posed by political
fragmentation and external influences, alongside the achievements in maintaining the Ukrainian cause on the international stage. The article draws parallels between the historical experience of the UPR and Ukraine’s present need for comprehensive support amid the Russo-Ukrainian War, underscoring the relevance of past lessons for bolstering the state’s position today.
2025-12-17T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Warmińskie https://czasopisma.uwm.edu.pl/index.php/sw/article/view/11267 The Martyrdom of the Warmian Catherine Sisters in 1945 in Relation to Christ’s Call to the Church in Smyrna: Be faithful even unto death (Rev 2:10) 2025-12-18T13:24:58+00:00 Aleksandra Nalewaj analewaj@wp.pl
The aim of this article is to show the martyrdom of the Warmian Catherine Sisters – victims of the communist regime of 1945 – in the context of the persecution of the Church in Smyrna in Rev 2:8–11. Characteristic Features of the Lenten Sermons of the Bishop of Warmia in 1553 2025-12-18T13:25:02+00:00 Ryszard Hajduk ryszard.hajduk@uwm.edu.pl
Stanisław Hosius (1504–1579) as bishop of Warmia devoted himself to the apostolate of pen and preaching, which became an arena of the struggle for Christian truth in the face of threats to the Catholic Church arising from the Protestant Reformation. Evidence of the future cardinal’s commitment to the defense of Catholicism is provided by the texts of his sermons, which he prepared to be delivered during Lent in 1553 in Elbląg and which have been preserved to this day. In the article, these sermons, written by Hosius in the German language of his time, form the basis for presenting the characteristic features of his style of preaching the Word of God. From the analysis of the texts, it emerges that their author polemicizes with Protestant opinions, defending the Catholic approach to the sacraments, especially the Eucharist. For this purpose he uses biblical, historical, theological and intellectual arguments. Exposing the errors of the Reformers, Hosius enters into dialogue with them, making use of his erudition and deep knowledge of the Christian tradition. His ministry of the Word is
inspired by the best biblical and patristic models. For this reason, he can be considered an eminent defender of the Catholic faith as well as a supporter of apostolic and biblical preaching.
2025-12-17T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Warmińskie https://czasopisma.uwm.edu.pl/index.php/sw/article/view/11252 Apologetics as Approached by Józef Myśków (1927-1988) 2025-12-18T13:25:01+00:00 Przemysław Artemiuk artemiukprzemek@gmail.com
The aim of the article is to take a holistic look at the writings of J. In the first part, the author defines the essence of the apologetics of the Warsaw professor, in the second part, his original proposal of comparative or ecumenical apologetics, and in the third part, he presents the apology of apologetics towards the emerging fundamental theology. The analyses conducted allow us to draw the following conclusions. Apologetics practiced by J. Myśkow, first of all, is an independent and non-theological science, which has its own formal and material subject and methods. As a scientific discipline, it is not part of the theological disciplines, but it maintains independence, and it does not have a theological feature, but a religious one. Secondly, the Warsaw professor, inspired by the documents of Vatican II and referring to the early research of W. Kwiatkowski, creates his own concept of apologetics, defining it as comparative apologetics with a clear ecumenical character, which uses the achievements of other Christian confessions to discover the classical apology of Jesus and its secondary forms. Thirdly, J. Myśków, in the era of post-conciliar changes, defends apologetics against fundamental theology,
seeing its specificity and religious studies orientation.
2025-12-17T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Warmińskie https://czasopisma.uwm.edu.pl/index.php/sw/article/view/11265 Biblical Argumentation in Sermons about the Dead by Johannes Marienwerder (1343–1417) 2025-12-18T13:24:59+00:00 Marek Karczewski marek.karczewski@uwm.edu.pl
Three sermons about the dead are among the lesser-known writings of Johannes Marienwerder. Bearing in mind the controversy over the origins of the dogma promulgated in 1870 and the accusations of the incompatibility of this truth with the centuries-old heritage, the problem of its proper interpretation is posed, contained in the formula of Benedict XVI – the hermeneutics of continuity. The process of argument is based on a theological explanation of the concept of infallibility. Then, in the historical context of the deliberations of Vatican I, the opposing interpretive positions are presented, as well as the process of developing a moderate concept that allowed its acceptance by all participants in the Council. The teaching of Vaticanum II, which reaffirmed the dogma by describing the infallibility of the pope in connection with the infallibility of the Church, was identified as a key criterion for the hermeneutic of continuity. The final element of the argument is an analysis of the papal teaching documents ex cathedra, resulting in the confirmed unity of the entire Church in the transmission of the truths of the faith.
2025-12-17T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Warmińskie https://czasopisma.uwm.edu.pl/index.php/sw/article/view/11033 Image of Jews and Judaism in Selected Contemporary Religious Education Textbooks 2025-12-18T13:25:11+00:00 Anna Zellma anna.zellma@uwm.edu.pl
Textbooks for teaching religion play a significant role in the transmission of religious knowledge. The analysis of selected contemporary religion textbooks indicates that their authors take into account the assumptions of The Roman Catholic religion curriculum in kindergartens and schools regarding Jews and Judaism. They present students with fundamental content directly related to these issues, including historical, religious, and cultural aspects concerning Jews and Judaism. They were beatified on May 31, 2025, in Braniewo, Warmia. Nowadays, the justification of the Church’s credibility is done through the analysis of signs of its authenticity. These signs do not come from outside the ecclesiastical reality but are expressions of the existence and action of the Church. One of these signs, which has a very high motivational value, is the martyrological sign. Martyrdom is the pinnacle of Christian testimony. The blessed martyrs serve as a clear and convincing sign of the credibility of the salvific mystery of Christ and His Church to the world.
2025-12-17T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Warmińskie https://czasopisma.uwm.edu.pl/index.php/sw/article/view/11256 Semeological Dimension of the Miracle according to the Criteria of Interpersonal Communication 2025-12-18T13:25:00+00:00 Sylwia Mikołajczak sylwia.mikolajczak@uwm.edu.pl
The modern conception of revelation shows it in two dimensions: noetic and eventual, that is, taking into account God’s word and His supernatural action. The implication of such an understanding was the inclusion in the revelatory area of the miracle as a vehicle for God’s unique presence in history. The miracle as a sign became a carrier of salvific content, that is, an invitation to man to respond and participate in the supernatural community of love. In this connection, one can pose the problem of analogy between the semeological concept of miracle and the theory of interpersonal communication present in the space of social sciences. The Catholic Church was an important element that united the settlers at that time, and their shared faith undoubtedly facilitated their integration. Attachment to the Catholic faith, respect for priests, and adherence to universal values such as patriotism, respect for one’s neighbor, and empathy are the features that distinguish the settlers from the Eastern Borderlands from other communities. This is where the idea came from to prepare a text dealing with these issues. The development of this type of work was linked to the beatification (1721) and canonisation (1729) of this martyr from Prague. This led to the creation of a large number of oratorios (Porsile, Balbi, Reutter the Elder, Reutter the Younger, Monza, Caldara, Porpora, Stehlík), which content was based on legends and the life of the martyr (Balbin, Pfeffel). In addition to these, an important group of compositions are the litanies in honour of St. John of Nepomuk (Manschinger, Š. Brixi, F.X. Brixi, Koutník, Schenkirž, Gsur, Vocet), the cantata Chvalozpěv
k sv. Janu Nepomuckému (Ryba), and above all masses associated with his name (Caldara, Vogl, Leo, Haydn) and mass propriums (Dittersdorf, Predieri, Ziegler, Fischer, Zach, Kratochvíl, Línek, Vogt, Jacob, Ebner). They were intended for liturgical rites and services dedicated to the saint, but some of the mentioned works (litany, motets,
arias) also served the needs of the musica navalis project (music on boats, Order of the Knights of the Cross with the Red Star), organised since 1715 on the waters of the Vltava River in Prague. The memory of the Prague martyr in 20th- and 21st-century music is confirmed by mass cycles (Říhovský, Piskáček) and cantata and oratorio
music (Thuri, Ille, Bernátek, Marek). This memory is also evidenced by compositions created outside the Czech Republic, including in Austria (Spitzner), Poland (Derlf), Croatia (Ebner), and even in the USA (Karczyński) and Venezuela (Montero). The musical works mentioned in the article complement our image of St. John of Nepomuk,
indicating (aspectual hagiography) that he is a courageous follower of Christ, an opponent
of all tyranny, the patron saint of confession and confessors, the protector of those who work on the water, and also the patron saint of the Czech nation and its identity (see the cantata Ryby, connection with the Cyril and Methodius idea).
2025-12-17T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Warmińskie https://czasopisma.uwm.edu.pl/index.php/sw/article/view/10285 The New Penal Canon Law – Future Prospects in the Time of Crisis 2025-04-29T09:58:10+00:00 Adam Jaszcz adjaszcz@kul.pl
Crimes related to abuse of the weakest members of the Church have caused one of the most serious crises in the history of the Church. The author focuses on the issue of the revocability of final judgments in both legal orders, pointing out important differences and limitations. In civil law, the possibility of resumption of proceedings and cassation is clearly limited, especially if one of the parties has entered into a new marriage. By contrast, in canon law there is more flexibility in this regard. Admittedly, Pope Francis has limited the possibility of recourse to the Roman Rota for a retrial if there has been a new marriage. However, he has allowed an exception in the case of manifest injustice of the judgment. However, the lack of clear criteria defining who can consider such a ruling unjust and under what circumstances may raise doubts about the stability of newly contracted marriages.
2025-12-17T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Warmińskie https://czasopisma.uwm.edu.pl/index.php/sw/article/view/11004 Józef Bremer (red.), „Kognitywistyka”, Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu Ignatianum w Krakowie, Kraków 2024, ss. 404 (Józef Bremer, ed., Cognitive science) (Karol Jasiński) 2025-01-08T17:58:25+00:00 Karol Jasiński karol.jasinski@uwm.edu.pl 2025-12-17T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Warmińskie https://czasopisma.uwm.edu.pl/index.php/sw/article/view/11222 Faces of Contemporary Cultural and Social Phenomena and the Education for Love in the Family 2025-12-18T13:25:08+00:00 Antoni Jucewicz antoni.jucewicz@uwm.edu.pl
The purpose of this article was an attempt to answer the question of upbringing for love in the family in the face of modern cultural and social phenomena. In the light of the analysis undertaken, it was shown that in the upbringing to mature love, an important and irreplaceable role is played by the family, the permanent and strong bond of spouses and the atmosphere of love, which is conducive to the formation of a balanced emotionality of children, starting from the prenatal period and infancy. The child is born as a “great need for love” and is the fruit of the parents’ love, and then witnesses it. The satisfied need for love, acceptance, presence as the child develops, spontaneously transforms into the need to show love. In this way, the child undergoes
the most important process of internalizing love - from receiving it (love as a need) to giving it (love as a gift). The deepened faith of the parents, the example set by the Christian life, participation in the life of the local Church and formation communities, living the word of God and the use of the sacraments provide a religious foundation
for the formation of love. A very important factor in strengthening families is participation in formation and evangelization communities. Participation in these communities, in addition to the main goal of mature faith formation, also provides a valuable educational environment for children and adolescents, widens the circle of
positive personal and Christian identification, provides support during crises of faith, is a place to establish deep friendships.
2025-12-17T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Warmińskie https://czasopisma.uwm.edu.pl/index.php/sw/article/view/11226 Dignity of the Child in a Foster Family (Inspired by Evangelium Vitae) 2025-12-18T13:25:03+00:00 Renata Pomarańska rpomaranska@kul.pl
The year 2025 marks the 30th anniversary of the publication of the encyclical Evangelium vitae by John Paul II. However, even from an early age, he did make a name for himself as a dialectician and polemicist. For this reason, his treatise, Methodos Rhetorikê garnered considerable attention. The present article seeks to demonstrate that this important work possesses some key intellectual elements relevant to rhetoric. Besides the title of the work, Italos’ references to the Aristotelian view of the art of speech demonstrates such relevance. In particular, we highlight the use of syllogisms and the notion of the distinctiveness of rhetoric from controversy and dialectic. At the same time, the eleventh century scholar’s proposal includes elements of rhetoric that depart from the Stagirites’ views, such as ways of understanding the ethos of the speaker, certain principles related to argumentation, and the relationship between rhetoric and ethics. Our analysis of Italos’ work makes it possible to appreciate the reception of classical rhetorical content in the Eastern
Roman Empire in 11th century.

2025-12-17T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Warmińskie https://czasopisma.uwm.edu.pl/index.php/sw/article/view/11970 Methodological Strategies for the Philosophical Reception of Communication Processes in the Post-truth Era 2025-12-18T13:24:51+00:00 Mariia Abysova maria.abysova@gmail.com Serhii Ordenov ss_ordenov@ukr.net
The article presents a philosophical analysis of communication in the post-truth era, understood as a phenomenon emerging from structural transformations induced by digital capitalism. In this context, communication becomes increasingly detached from its epistemic function in the pursuit of truth, assuming instead the role
of a mechanism for behavioural influence, affective resonance, or the simulation of discursive exchange. The aim of the study is to conceptualise methodological strategies for the reception of these transformations. The paper identifies and examines three main groups of strategies – normative, critical-analytical, and post-normative – regarding the epistemological, ontological, and anthropological limitations of contemporary communication. While classical models continue to offer analytical insights, it is argued that they must be expanded to address the fragmentation of the communicative environment, the algorithmic structuring of language, and the evolving status of the subject. The typology proposed here is of heuristic significance for understanding the conditions under which responsible communicative practice remains possible when interaction can no longer rely on a stable foundation of truth.
2025-12-17T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Warmińskie https://czasopisma.uwm.edu.pl/index.php/sw/article/view/11971 Humanitarian Security in Higher Education: Concept and Implementation 2025-12-18T13:24:50+00:00 Oleksandr Horban o.horban@kubg.edu.ua Ruslana Martych r.martych@kubg.edu.ua
The article explores the formation and development of humanitarian security within the context of higher education, emphasizing its critical role amid rapid digital transformation and emerging societal challenges. It highlights the primary threats to humanitarian security - disinformation, algorithmic manipulation, and
cognitive overload - and underscores the necessity of fostering critical thinking as a key cognitive tool to build individual and collective resilience. The study presents a triadic educational model based on competency development, media literacy integration, and ethical guideline formation to counteract information threats. Furthermore, it situates higher education as a space for worldview formation, moral reflection, and social integration, facilitating the cultivation of bioethical awareness and cultural diversity. Universities are portrayed as vital institutions that promote humanitarian resilience, moral responsibility, and inclusive dialogue, acting as both knowledge centers
and social mobilizers, particularly in times of crisis. The article argues that higher education’s mission transcends traditional knowledge transfer by fostering a responsible, critically thinking citizenry capable of sustaining freedom, dignity, and justice in a complex world. Practical recommendations include integrating humanitarian security into curricula, expanding bioethical competence, reinforcing university autonomy, and enhancing international cooperation to ensure sustainable development and peace.
2025-12-17T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Warmińskie https://czasopisma.uwm.edu.pl/index.php/sw/article/view/11972 The Philosophy of Hybridity in Management: Phronesis, Risk, and Agile Governance in a Post‑Digital World 2025-12-18T13:24:49+00:00 Oleksiy Kiykov kyikov@ukr.net
This article develops a philosophy of hybrid management as a virtue-rooted practice for acting wisely under uncertainty. Grounded in Aristotelian practical wisdom (phronesis), it integrates agile iteration, prudent risk governance, values-oriented inquiry, emotional education, and phenomenology-informed knowledge creation into a single architecture of managerial reasoning. The paper proposes an organizational „constitution” built on five commitments–value clarity, dialogical sense-making, prudent experimentation, capability cultivation, and ethical guardrails – showing how hybridity reconciles rules and improvisation without lapsing into technocracy or relativism. Drawing examples from public administration, higher education, and business, it argues that hybrid governance enhances resilience, legitimacy, and ethicalcoherence while preserving innovation. The account reframes decision quality as a social achievement enabled by collective phronesis and institutional design. It positions
uncertainty as a field for character formation and purpose clarification, not a defect to be engineered away. The result is a portable framework for organizations seeking disciplined flexibility in post-digital conditions.
2025-12-17T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Warmińskie https://czasopisma.uwm.edu.pl/index.php/sw/article/view/11973 STEAM Education as a Tool for Shaping National Competence in Contemporary Ukrainian Society 2025-12-18T13:24:48+00:00 Oksana Petinova pob@pdpu.edu.ua Kateryna Tkachenko Tkachenko.KV@pdpu.edu.ua
In the context of Ukraine’s struggle for statehood, cultural sovereignty, and subjectivity on the world stage, the category of national competence acquires fundamental significance in the philosophy of education. The article substantiates
the need to introduce this category into the philosophical and educational discourse as an integrative construct that reflects the axiological, ontological, gnoseological, and praxeological dimensions of personal development in national and cultural coordinates. STEAM education is analyzed as an innovative tool for shaping national competence in the context of postcolonial deconstruction and digital modernization of Ukrainian society. The emphasis is on the educational potential of interdisciplinary
STEAM projects, including media art, VR exhibitions, sound and digital design, algorithmic
modeling, project-based learning (PBL), etc. These technologies contribute to the formation of a value-oriented national identity through symbolic, emotionally rich, and socially engaged learning. National competence is understood as a meta-paradigmatic category of contemporary philosophy of education that serves as a response
to the challenges of war, colonial heritage, and globalization.
2025-12-17T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Warmińskie https://czasopisma.uwm.edu.pl/index.php/sw/article/view/11974 The Hospitable Translanguaging Lifeworld : A Phenomenology of the Displaced Students Experience 2025-12-18T13:24:46+00:00 Serhii Terepyshchyi terepyshchyi@gmail.com
This article develops the Hospitable Translanguaging Lifeworld (HTL) as a phenomenological framework for understanding displaced students’ classroom experience at the intersection of language, identity, and educational hospitality. Synthesizing recent research from Poland, Germany, Norway, and the Czech Republic alongside our prior studies, we theorize five mutually reinforcing dimensions – recognition,
semiotic openness (translanguaging as epistemic practice), temporal continuity (bridges across support and mainstream spaces), networked belonging (heterophilous peer ties), and epistemic dignity (status as credible knower). We show how monolingual assessment regimes, unbridged pull-out models, and legal-bureaucratic logics produce “spaces of nonrecognition,” while translanguaging-aligned instruction, designed
handoffs, and democratic classroom routines convert formal access into felt inclusion. The framework yields policy moves that render hospitality auditable without reducing it to paperwork: enforceable language-rights guarantees, bridged mainstreaming as default, assessment guidance that authorizes multilingual evidence of learning, trauma-informed professional learning tied to participatory routines, and data-partnership infrastructures tracking social as well as academic integration. Conceptually, HTL links duty-based governance to classroom craft; practically, it offers a design grammar for turning welcome into everyday learning, thereby aligning educational inclusion with the democratic values schools claim to teach.
2025-12-17T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Warmińskie https://czasopisma.uwm.edu.pl/index.php/sw/article/view/11975 Postmodern Performativity of the Global World 2025-12-18T13:24:45+00:00 Kateryna Honcharenko agneshka13@gmail.com
The postmodern performativity of the contemporary globalized world primarily manifests in its role as the optimal mechanism for the reproduction of social reality. Conversely, it is precisely through postmodern approaches that new processes are performatively constructed and immediately integrated into circulatory systems. Postmodern characteristics – including fragmentation, pluralism, the decentralization of the subject, the economy of the sign, skepticism toward metanarratives, and deterritorialization – contribute to the formation of new performative normativity, and by extension legitimacy, grounded in transparency and precise correspondence to reality. The performative world is continuously constituted through actions that simultaneously construct and delineate it; this duality both aligns with the global world and enables survival within it. The core objective of this research is to delineate the mechanisms and principles governing the operation of postmodern performativity in the global world, as well as to refute the fallacy inherent in its everyday perception and application – where performativity is largely reduced to a "stage performance" of
spectacle within the social arena.
2025-12-17T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Warmińskie
