Wybrane obszary działalności zorganizowanych grup przestępczych w Polsce.

Abstract
The article attempts to present that despite the undoubted change in the characteristics of organized crime in Poland, the criminal sector, based on illegal trade in weapons, drugs, cigarettes and cut tobacco, is still relevant. A possible trend towards an increase in the number of people operating as members in the structures of organized crime groups was also noted. The analysis included statistical data provided by the Central Bureau of Investigation of the Police in the years 2019 - 2024 in the field of monitoring and combating organized crime in the areas of: illegal production of cigarettes and cut tobacco, including liquidated cigarette factories and places producing cut tobacco. Illegal possession of firearms, divided into the types of weapons secured, i.e. long, short, machine guns, signal, gas, homespun and others. In addition, the type and quantity of seized drugs were examined, divided into amphetamine, hashish, heroin, cocaine, marijuana, MDMA, methamphetamine, mephedrone, escstasy, BMK and cannabis bushes, as part of the activities carried out to combat organized crime in the territory of the Republic of Poland.
