About the Journal
Social Sciences Forum is a scientific journal that was created at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland in 2022.
Its aim is to publish high-quality, original articles related to pivotal issues in social sciences, both in theoretical and practical aspect. The manuscripts would further the progress in various social sciences, such as pedagogy, international relations, political sciences, sociology, psychology, and security sciences, which allows to present an interdisciplinary approach. The most important aspect of the publishing process is ensuring high-quality of the manuscripts submitted to the Journal. All articles go through a double-blind peer review.
The Editorial Office invites authors to submit manuscripts either in Polish or in English. Each article receives an individual DOI (digital object identifier).

Average time from submission to the first decision: 14 days
Average review time: 40 days
Average time from acceptance to publication: 180 days
Rejection rate in 2023: 9%
The Journal is an annual, published online in open access. To reach the highest standards in publication ethics, all issues and articles should be prepared according to the scientific, ethics and technical rules prepared by the Ministry of Science and Committee on Publication Ethics (https://publicationethics.org/).
There are no charges for submission and publication.
The Journal has chosen to apply the Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial 3.0 License (CC BY-NC 3.0) to all manuscripts to be published.
The Editorial Office agrees to share published articles on authors’ websites, websites of universities and in repositories.
The publisher uses the Crossref anti-plagiarism program.
Copies of the journal are archived at the Library of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn and the National Library in Warsaw.
The publication of the journal is funded by the internal resources of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Warmia and Mazury.
