THE IMPACT OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW TRAM LINE IN OLSZTYN TO CHANGE THE ACCESSIBILITY OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Abstract

The article presents the accessibility status of collective transport in Polish provincial centers of Eastern Poland at the end of the EU perspective 2007–2013 and 2014–2020 will be the main stimulator. The first study analyzed period is 2013 years. Next detailed analysis was made for 2016 by the state of the existing public transport network, with tram network made with EU financial perspective 2007–2013. In the last audited period in 2020 included the planned investments to improve public transport in Olsztyn, in the basic variant and reserve. Changing the accessibility of communication it is largely based on population. In order to achieve a high level of detail of the distribu-tion of the population study used data from the census enumeration for 2011, which in Olsztyn is 926. With 926 census enumeration areas inhabited is 881, and the average number of people living circuits is from 3 to 633 people, bringing the total It gives the number of residents of Olsztyn at the level of 174 thousand. those for 2011. Research methods used in this article: distance-based accessibility measure (availability measured distance) and potential-based accessibility measure (accessibility of potential). The main aim is to capture changes in the availability for different years, in the investment scena-rio after investments (ex-post) and taking into account the planned investments (ex-post) in the base and extended.
