The article discusses the themes found in the literature of Janusz Korczak. It is characterized by major problems his prose: the structure of the main character, the place of action, the role and function of secondary motifs. Draws attention to the nature and main characteristics of literature for children and young people. Questions the universality of the themes addressed and their perceptual capabilities by modern readers for children.
