Abstract

Bronisław Kamiński is rather unknown as a poet in Poland. In France, however, he was called the “Polish Rimbaud.” This paper attempts to describe Kamiński’s surprising, poetic path and analyze his poetic debut, published in Cracow in 1937. It aims at comparing its two versions, focusing on the means Durocher uses to express his youthful rebellion à la Arthur Rimbaud.
