Abstract

Maria Morozowicz-Szczepkowska developed feminist dramaturgy in the interwar period. Her
play Type Aprovoked amoral scandal. An analysis of theatre critics’ reviews reveals the extent of
moral censorship, the level of misogyny, and the entrenchment in patriarchy.
