Abstract

The article is devoted to the concept of ecology of history that has been introduced by the author. The current characteristics of ecology of history and its further development as an independent branch of history of philosophy is justified by the presence of negative aspects of human existence in history, such as for example: the extreme, nihilism, ignorance, repetition of mistakes from the past. Ecology of history aims at protecting history from such ,,rubbish”. The main point of ecology of history is to clear human soul of evil and meanness.

Ecology of history has an onthological meaning because it express man’s ecological attitude towards nature and culture in time and space. Gnosecological meaning of ecology of history is based on the extent to which we can work out our restored historical consciousness, reflection upon history with great emphasis on the lessons history teaches us and which reflect its mistakes, as well as historical memory which, by its glorious character, is considered to be a spiritual prop. Axiological meaning depends on the fact that ecology of history assumes that the culture of human existence in history is based on spiritual and moral values.
