Abstract

The present paper is an attempt to characterize the process of transformation of human reality due to the digital technologies’ development. Their growing presence in an everyday life had led to blurring the boundaries between “virtual” and “real”. The process of mixing both worlds is referred to as hybridization of reality. Hybridization of reality is on the one hand the process of permeating real elements into virtual reality (the so-called modal hybridization), on the other hand – hybridization is the process of combining virtuality and reality in one being (the so-called bimodal hybridization).
