SUBMISSION PREPARATION CHECKLIST

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

The submission has not been previously published, nor has it been submitted to another journal for consideration – not even in parts, in a similar form, or in a different language.

In the case of images and visual illustrations quoted in the article, copyrights should be protected. All figures included in the text should be titled (Fig. 1. Title ...), jpg files with a resolution of 300 pixels/inch should be attached to the application.

All the people involved in the submission are mentioned. In the case of a book review, there is no conflict of interest with respect to the author(s) or editor(s) of the book, and the reviewed book was neither published by Wydawnictwo UWM or in one of the journal editors’ book series, nor was any of the journal editors involved in its writing.

The text uses the template for articles or for book reviews.

In the Reference list, all names should be transliterated in accordance with the rules described in the editorial requirements.

The length of the article should not exceed 30,000 characters with spaces in the case of an article and 7,000 characters with spaces in the case of a book review.

The submission file is in .DOCX (Microsoft Word), .ODT (OpenOffice), or .RTF document file format.

The text should be written in Slavic languages (we prefer Polish and East Slavic languages), as well as in English and German.
