Abstract

The criticism of metaphysics of being as the basis for theological discourse created in Martin Heidegger the need to find a different solution of the traditional system explaining the relations and differences between philosophy and the theological dimension of thinking, the mind and religious faith. The new tasks assigned by ontology of being went through three stages of religious and theological connections. After the initial catholic stage, there occurred a rapprochement with protestant confession and theology, only to leave Christian religion altogether in the last phase of development. Heidegger constructs his original version of theology approaching the poetic and mythical notion of the sacred.
