Russian Modernism – Between Two Depts (The World From the End and the World From the Beginning Following the Same Track)

Wadim Rabinowicz

Abstract

The author of the text deals with the issues (the thesis, the creative techniques) connected to the modernism and postmodernism with reference to some chosen pieces of work of W. Chlebnikow, A. Kruczonycha, A. Wwiedeński, G. Szengela and A. Wozniesieński. The experiments in the field of language and poetry conduced by the above mentioned authors, whose influence on the development of Russian modernism is varied, are caused by the authors’ quest for the aesthetic values (i. e. W. Chlebnikow and A. Kruczonycha – the founders and propagators of the language existing ‘beyond conscious mind’), as well as the political and economic status of The Soviet Russia and also of contemporary Russia (A. Wozniesieński).
