Abstract

This article applies to understanding the concepts of “health” and “illness” in medicine, psychology, and culture. It is an attempt to move away from technical way analysis of diseases, as the phenomena of deficit, resulting in the structure of the human body and psyche, and in social relations and cultural patterns based on eliminationistic theory. The author treats health as a result of the game between life processes in which the sum is positive, and disease, as a game of the same processes, in which the sum is negative. Health and illness are treated as permanent components of the human condition, the same for all, differentiated only by the individual dispositions and the living conditions of the biological, psychological or social.
