Abstract

Podcasting in Polish culture is a relatively new and little-known phenomenon. However, there has been increased interest in this kind of activity. The authors
of the article analysed the activities of podcasters invited to the Polcaster conference, which is a periodically-organized event aimed at integrating this community. The research conducted between 2017 and 2018 was based on 19 podcasts, which were subject to both quantitative and qualitative analysis. According to the survey, Polish podcasts are much more focused on content-related programmes than entertainment. They are also created by interesting personalities who are able to talk about their passions, often combined with professional activity.
