Abstract

There are many methods of valorisation of the landscape (Antolak i Młynarczyk 2013) showing the value of the area, among others in terms of suitability and predisposition of the area to act as specific functions or degree of visual attractiveness. The methods are based primarily on the expert experience  of the landscape ”objective” valuation. The design concept of the public beach at Czos Lake in Mragowo was based on selected research methods. Wejchert’s impression curve method was used and pilot studies involving the design process of visual space users were conducted. The applied methods of landscape valorisation allowed to graphically present the experiences and impressions of people using the land and helped in formulating the design guidelines.
