Echa Przeszłości is a scientific journal edited by historians at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (UWM). The first volume of the Journal was published in 2000. The Journal was created on the initiative of Professor Sławomir Kalembka, the then director of the Institute of History and expert on 19th century history and the history of political thought. The Journal’s Scientific Board comprises professors representing Polish and international academic centers. Echa Przeszłości is the leading journal that publishes contributions from UWM’s historians.
