Abstract

This article briefly presents the key characteristics of Polish infantry, cavalry and artillery troops on the eve of the expedition against the Russian Guard in May 1831. The Polish army’s organizational structure, training, combat tactics, sizes of military units, and the reorganization of the insurgent army are described.
