Abstract

Does God have a body in a material sense? The answer is quite obvious. God does not have a body similar to one which we know from our everyday experience; God does not have a body that you can touch, see, measure, test, and assess. However, in an analogical sense there are traces of His corporality, especially when we experience a situation that can be described as a religious act. Without those traces, God becomes impossible for any recognition, He cannot be presented in any way, and finally, perhaps most importantly, He cannot enter into any relation with a human. This “body” is a kind of a bridge for God himself or a means to communicate with the world. The article tries to analyse the mentioned problem.
