Abstract

Catastrophic consequences of anthropopressure result in the necessity of stronger than ever cooperation between humanities and natural sciences. Those two, artificially separated scientific fields, have managed, over the years, to develop their own jargons and methodologies of conducting research. Today we observe that this artificial separation cannot be maintained anymore as both fields research the same: the human environment. More integrated approaches are again needed in order to protect the nature more efficiently. Posthumanism and its concepts offer exactly this kind of approach which unites again different ways of thinking about surrounding nature. If humanities aim at taking care of the environment, it has to connect both mentioned perspectives in theoretical thinking and in practical actions.
