The main purpose of this article was to shown an aesthetics sensibility of Carolingian monk and man of learning - Walahfrid Strabo. The base of an analysis was a written by Strabon a botanical masterpiece De cultura hortorum. Very deep reflection of this early middle ages monk proved that the Ancient and a Christian world’s - in one hand - so far away from each other they - in fact - were very similar. Determinat of this coincidence were not only the universality of a Latin language but also gradually adopted, realized and converted art and philosophy. Strabon took very important place in a process of formation an aesthetic thought. He is a connecting link between Alcuin who foretell a conception of order and John Scottus Eriugena which aforementioned order dared to spectacularly defined as a Christian aesthetic based on Grecian and Roman thought.
