About the Content of Golden Leaves and Orphic Mysteries (Magic, Psychology, Philosophy)

Abstract

The question of orphic golden leaves belong to the most fascinating phenomena in Greek religion. Found in different places, all over Greece, they are a testimony of flourishing, alive cult, which gave not only hope but also a way for eternal live after death. The problems of this kind were developed in another texts- poetry, drama, philosophy, and by well known authors of this time. Orphism, Pythagoreanism, and another mystery cults are an obvious testimony of human wishes to transcend terrestrial condition and finally become god. The article is next a prove of translation and interpretation of famous fragments also with regard to modern conceptions of psychology.
