General right to information of trade union in the light of the amendment to the Act of May 23, 1991 on trade unions

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to discuss the amendment to the Act of May 23, 1991 on trade unions, which entered into force on January 1, 2019 regarding general right to information. Prior to the amendment, the indicated matter has raised much controversy in the doctrine of labour law. In particular, the article focuses on the general right to information, the possibility to request information about remuneration of an individual employee and information that is kept secret by employers or companies.
