Since 2004, the times of the "Orange Revolution", the topic of Ukraine has increasingly appeared in the Polish media, and Ukraine itself has become the subject of interest and sympathy for a large number of Poles. In 2019, for the first time in independent Ukraine, seven months before the presidential election, it was difficult to assess who would win in the first round of elections. The aim of the article is to show how the image of the presidential election in Ukraine is changing in a few months. How the candidates were assessed on the basis of their previous achievements and how the public support changes in the short time of the election campaign. Information materials prepared by the most popular news channel in Poland, TVN24, were used for the analysis.
