Abstract

In the article I reconstruct the position of Witkacy to the question of the actual infinity. The views of Witkacy are located against a background of scientific traditions of the antiquity, of the Middle Ages and of the modern history. The interpretation of Witkacy is confronted with the interpretation of the representatives of the philosophical formalism and intuitionism
