The article presents an analysis of research reconnaissance carried out in October 2018 in the Augustowska Primeval Forest in context of UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. The purpose of the research was to “enter the field” and collection of source material. During a few-day stay, I had the opportunity to participate in beekeeping workshops. The result of field trips is the acquired source material, photographic and film documentation, a field research journal, and unstructured interviews. This article aims to reflect on the ethnographical field penetration. I will pay attention to contribute to the results on the background of UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
