The aim of the author of this article is to present the information strategy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland in the Polish and foreign media in the 1st quarter of 2017. Foreign Minister Waszczykowski’s controversial interviews formed the basis for this article. The information strategy is, according to the author, a planned cause-and-effect sequence in the transmission of content aimed at making or sharing information and increasing or consolidating the potential of customer trust through the transfer of objectivity and neutrality contained in redistributed content. Following this definition, some ministers’ statements should be classified as emotional, often biased, and lacking objectivity, and can be defined as political gaffes or diplomatic failures.
