Civitas et Lex is an international peer-reviewed open access journal. It was established as a quarterly in 2014 and is published by the Publishing House of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland, under the auspices of the NATO DEEP program and in cooperation with the international research team CEDICLO. In 2021, it was included in the ANVUR (Italia) scientific journals.
The aim of the journal is to publish articles that exchange ideas and experiences, initiate discussions on current social problems, whereby the journal seeks to support young scientists.
The scope of the journal covers 9 scientific disciplines (sections): history, social communication and media studies, security studies, pedagogy (education), administration studies, legal sciences, canon law, psychology and the section of „Varia”, bringing together interdisciplinary articles from social sciences and humanities.
In separate sections, we publish glosses, reviews and reports from scientific conferences, as well as reviews (presentations) of monographs and scientific papers appearing on the publishing market.
The journal is published in a printed format (p-ISSN 2392-0300) and in an electronic format (e-ISSN 2449-5522).
The editorial office accepts submissions in Polish or the conference languages (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian).
Access to the journal is open and its scope is not subject to any restrictions, thanks to which authors and readers around the world can use the published content.
