Abstract

In the article I compare Witkacy’s philosophy

with Kant’s philosophy from the perspective of

what is analytic and synthetic, a priori and aposteriori, Euclidean and non-Euclidean. I promote

the thesis according to which Witkacy’s metaphysical system is a variety of transcendentalism.

Keywords:

analytic–syntheti; a priori– –aposteriori; Euclidean–non-Euclidean; Husserl, Kant; transcendentalism; metaphysics
