Humanistic Aspects of Physical Culture and Social Problems

Abstract

The article presents problems connected with the lack of abilities of taking part in physical culture activities, showing at the same time the detailed and present status of the Polish society. Physical culture is the culture dealing with human body. Taking the ancient example of calocagaty into consideration, it combines good, truth and beauty into one entity appearing in a perfect human. Physical exercise are the symptom of physical culture and they relate to health, body structure, beauty etc. Taking care of the body may lead to the most important matter - constant arousing a human inside a body. Nowadays, close connections of physical culture and health are emphasized. Exercises are the source of health and an important element in people’s lives. Constant limitation of physical culture activities together with other negative for health factors cause very often civilisation sicknesses. Social and economical changes which took place in Poland recently had bad influence on appearing the problem of constant poverty among people. For most Polish families the basic task was coping with existential problems. Poverty caused giving up physical culture activities, which meant giving up caring for being healthy. The low level of the number of uneducated people was also significant.
