Abstract

The paper focuses on the question of axiological development of man as viewed in a psychological perspective. A holistic option of development is accepted here and a concept of an integral development is based upon it.

The highest development level, leading to inner harmony and integration with the whole environment, constitutes the main problem touched upon in the paper. It is assumed that each individual is predisposed to integrate himself and to experience harmony. It is also presumed that such an experience, even if single, can activate in a human being the ability to create his inward higher order. What follows, it can initiate his aspiration for a meditative way of communicating with the world, and start the development of a disinterested attitude of man.

Keywords:

ethical development, holistic option, archetype of integrality, harmonious, disinterestedness, state of meditation
