Abstract
In the archives and scientific publications of the Warmian community you can find many materials about the person and work of Nicolaus Copernicus. Among them are studies by Fr. prof. Marian Borzyszkowski (1935-2001), an expert on the sources of medieval theology and philosophy. Father Professor was, like Nicolaus Copernicus, a member of the Warmian Chapter based in Frombork. The Professor's achievements, which include 159 published studies (monographs, articles, reviews and reports), include 15 (including 12 in the "Studia Warmińskie" annual) texts, which are review and scientific articles, which discuss the subject of the most famous Canon of Warmia. The publication includes a German-language version of the text by Fr. prof. Marian Borzyszkowski, entitled "Kirche und De revolutionibus Nikolaus Kopernikus", created on the occasion of the celebration of the 500th anniversary of the birth of Nicolaus Copernicus and delivered in Elbląg, in the church of St. Nicholas, September 16, 1973
