Reflections on Witkiewicz’s Promotion of Euclidean Space

Abstract

In this article, the author attempted to reconstruct Witkacy’s views on the Euclidean or non-Euclidean nature of physical space, and asks questions about the current value of his program for defending Euclideanism. This is a reconstruction, because his manuscripts were destroyed during the war, and many of his views have to be guessed.
