Abstract

The author of the article presents the sociological and philosophical grounds of the independent T. Kotarbiński, as well as its axiological foundations and its normative content. The author contrasts the attitudes of the Catholic Church and Marxist orientation towards the introduced topic. Furthermore an attempt is made to place the independent ethics on metaethical basis within the sphere of the generally accepted set of views classified by normative ethics.
