Monument as an Idle Being

Abstract

From aesthetic, sociological and cultural side, this article studies the process of a monument construction. Its origin descends from religious sacrum, whereas the modern form connects with rising and functioning of cultural industry. The monument is the embodiment of the past and at the same time it should express authentic ideas of a post-modern man.
