Virtuality as a Component of Reality

Jan Trąbka

Abstract

Before virtuality appeared, with the help of aristotelean actualization, in the shape of cybernetic organisms, it had existed as a hidden component of potential reality. Philosophical ground for virtuality was created on the basis of panapsychism of A. N. Whitehead and B. Russel. Virtual reality exists as such, but it does not have any onthic basis. The first pseudo-definition of virtuality was presented by J. Lanier.
